The SAB is a very rewarding experience. It is exciting to provide feedback to an organization that actually puts it into action. Witnessing E&I listen to it's members and provide them with the tools they asked for in order to be more engaged and successful really shows that their members are at the epicenter of importance. If you have insights and ideas that you feel could benefit the membership and the industry, the SAB is the place for you!

Executive Director, Strategic Sourcing
Serving on the Strategic Advisory Board has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences of my career. The SAB isn’t just a committee—it’s a true think tank of higher education procurement leaders who care deeply about advancing our profession and shaping the future of cooperative purchasing. The conversations are thoughtful and inclusive, the collaboration is genuine, and the impact is evident. I’ve gained a broader perspective on how strategic sourcing fits into the national landscape while helping E&I align its goals with the real needs of our members. It’s also a great opportunity to build relationships with colleagues who are forward-thinking. If you’re considering applying—do it. You’ll walk away with new insights, a stronger network, and a deeper appreciation for the power of collective leadership within higher education procurement.
